I didn't need much in the way of food for this coming week...actually, I'm needing to clean out my freezer a little!! So, I decided to take advantage of the double coupon days at Kmart and help build my stockpile.

I could have not spent so much...but, there were a few things I was totally out of and needed (butter, milk, hairspray...), a few things I wanted (candy and snacks...), and then the unbleached flour, because I want to try my hand at making homemade tortilla shells!!

Shall we say, that my shopping trip didn't go as planned? I'd love to blame it on the store, but it was all due to my lack of details! The cereal was supposed to be 3/$7.00 get $1 Register Rewards back. I missed/forgot about the select varieties part! So you guessed it...I paid a little bit more and missed the $1 RR. And then, I forgot to show the store coupon for the paper towels! And I was hoping that my rebate gift card had been loaded from last month already, but it wasn't, so...more money out of pocket than I originally intended! Such is life!

I am fairly new to "couponing", and am wondering what you, the reader, feel is a good target price to buy cereal at.
